MARLEY,our new 7 week old black lab puppy just LOVES his bowls !! ( and we do too ! ).they are very heavy ceramic (not for traveling !) but because they are so heavy ,he can't push them around and break them. We're very happy with this purchase and highly reccommend these pet bowls. They look good and unless you have a really rough-natured pet,they should hold up just fine.The manufacterer did a great job of putting his name on the dish and the water dish has a little faucet on it; very cute !
