Sugar Ann Dwarf Pea Seeds
Sugar Ann Dwarf Pea Seeds

The best thing about these is the bush size. My sugar-snap pea vines are eight feet tall, but the Sugar Anns, which planted right along the driveway, are nice, compact little bushes. I did stake them to keep them up off the ground so the snails can't get to the leaves, which seems to have worked, but if you don't have snail problems I see no reason to stake them at all.

De Grace Snow Pea Seeds

Garden peas all require mild weather to do their best. May be sown in the spring, one-half to one inch deep and several inches apart in all directions, several weeks before the last frost date of spring. Most types need support, such as trellis, net, fence, etc. Try to time the planting so the plants mature a full crop before the arrival of really hot weather. For fall planting, sow the seeds in late summer two months before the first frost date of autumn.
