Finally, here is a disc of Aaron Neville doing what he does best, singing the great music of the '50s. This is a 1983 EP consisting of five songs, expanded with four more songs. Though it is still short at 33 minutes and 35 seconds, it is not a wham-bam/on-and-off affair like it may seem, and there is not a throwaway cut here. This disc was done with some of the best musicians and writers available, with special attention to detail, from the opening notes of "Pledging My Love" to the final refrain...
