I haven't used the Odd Job's much but it will be a good tool for what I am doing: currently siding my house with cedar shingles. To me the No. 1 Odd Job's is a carpentry tool not necessarily a wood workers tool. In my mine there is a difference with degree of accuracy needed. Carpenters and woodworkers are cousins not brothers. Some furniture builders I know want to take off a few thousandths where a carpenter may call an 1/8" close enough-nail it.
