Blackthorne is one of those unique games like Out of this World or Oddworld or Price of Persia. However, I must say, this is the best of those types of games. The music is dark, the settting is dark and the main character is bad @$$. However, this game isn't for the gamer who wants to walk through an easy story. This is a challenging game and will keep you on your toes. The game has a great way of making you want to push on further! Hope you enjoy as much as I did!

I had enjoyed playing "The Terminator" for both the Sega Genesis and the Sega CD (This version being the best) so I was eager to check out what the superior graphics and sound of the SNES had to offer. Unfortunantly, I was in for a bit of a dissapointment. The graphics are very dissapointing and really don't look that much better then the NES version. The sound is prety annoying overall, and the control is pretty bad. I would still recommend the Sega versions of this game instead.
