High-quality Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe and Tips from South West India. Carefully broken leaves with a reddish infusion, flowery-crisp aroma and a superb hint of licorice on the palate. Situated between virgin forests at a hight of between 2000/5000 feet, and surrounded by the scent of eucalyptus and cypress, tea cultivation started in Nilgiri (Blue Mountains) around 1850. The crop is gathered in two flushing periods, April/May and September through December. |
