Powerful and accurate laser range finder. Optics are so so. Nightime operation is a challenge secondary to poor lighting of LCD display.

I like this piece of gear very well built. I dropped it down 6 flights of stairs and it worked like a champ. The bad thing about it is that the numbers are black on the inside of this range finder so when in direct sunlight or in well lighted area's its hard to see the numbers on the inside.

I was able to measure targets at 900 to 960 yards away occasionally. Quickly I have discovered how sensitive this unit is. Its capability totally depends on many factors. Even on a clear day, little pollution in addition to the size and reflectivity of the target altered my readings. Funny enough my measurements were in 900 yard ranges in the evening hours where less sun rays effected ( I am sure this is true ) the range. Another observation, it measured 1113 yards but, target was large and plastic...
