Never Let Me Go
I really liked the premise of this book but didn't feel like it went anywhere. Although it's billed as a "mystery" that "mystery" becomes pretty obvious after the first few chapters. What I found most bothersome is that once the "mystery" is revealed, there is no revolt or outrage, only a quiet resolve and annoying complacency on the part of the main characters. I found that really hard to stomach, especially for a novel that centers around such young protagonists. In most science fiction stories... |

Don't Let Me Go
Over a three-year period they climbed five mountains and ran in two marathons. Together they suffered sore muscles, bitter cold, sprung knees, shin splints, and broken spirits. But they also reveled in blazing sunsets, glissaded on a glacier, and celebrated numerous victories great and small. And in the process, they built an unshakable father-daughter bond that will withstand the tests of time. |

Let Me Go
One final improvement on Treblinka was the following: while the victims of Treblinka almost always knew that they were going to be exterminated, in Auschwitz we sought to deceive them by making them think they were going to be disinfected for lice. In many cases, of course, they guessed our true intentions, and consequently we had to suppress a number of revolts. Mothers would often attempt to hide their little children under their clothes, but they were easily found, and sent immediately to the... |

Let Me Go the the Father's House
John Paul II's Strength in Weakness On the first weekend in April 2005, the world held its breath as Pope John Paul II embarked upon his final pilgrimage of faith. Few events have so captured the hearts of so many. We watched, prayed, and kept vigil with this faithful servant of Christ, whose life and ministry had indelibly impacted the Church he guided for twenty-six years. His energy and activity on behalf of the Gospeleven as illness and disease marked his latter yearsleft us amazed and filled... |

Let Me Go, Let Me Go
"...these are meditations on depression, waiting, dislocation, separation, doubt, fear, loneliness...the usual from me...but here, if I did not see redemption or even a glimmer of hope, and thought I could put that into lyrics and a simple melody, I allowed that to be the driving force of the song. In the past I would edit these themes out or push them to the sides in favor of a better line technically, or a more anticipated rhyme. This session, in my mind, leads easily into my upcoming projects... |

Mother, Please Let Me Go
This book is about my exciting and wonderful career in the United States Air Force. I listed my various assignment in the order in which they occurred and outlined the major events in my life while at each base. Every assignment had a lot of good points and some that wasn’t that great but I tried to focus on the exciting things. A large portion of the book deals with my assignments in Vietnam and events that still haunt me today. The events in the book start when I was a senior in high school trying... |

Never Let Me Go
Never Let Me Go breaks through the boundaries of the literary novel. It is a gripping mystery, a beautiful love story, and also a scathing critique of human arrogance and a moral examination of how we treat the vulnerable and different in our society. In exploring the themes of memory and the impact of the past, Ishiguro takes on the idea of a possible future to create his most moving and powerful book to date. |

Luther Vandross may have fallen a bit from his lofty perch among R&B stars, but it wasn't due to any dip in skills. This release contains more examples of his supple, fluid vocals, expert delivery, and sophisticated yet soulful style. Indeed, Vandross hasn't made many better overall albums from a strict singing standpoint; his voice is full and impressive in every register, and there's no sign of strain when he reaches to the top of an arrangement or extends notes and phrases. Perhaps the only sign... |

One of Shakespeare's greatest and most popular plays, The Tempest begs to be visualised by a master filmmaker. Julie Taymor's definitive film version is at once a romance and a comedy. It has elements of a revenge drama driven by the bitterness and fury of its lead character, the sorceress/scientist, Prospera. It has a charming and romantic young love story in the mode of Romeo and Juliet , it has three of Shakespeare's best and bawdiest lowlife comic roles and it has elements of science fiction... |
