Gum Arabic is produced in the northwest of Morocco near the Atlantic Coast. Gum Arabic, or Mastic (gum acacia) as it is also known, is a natural gum. It is resin taken from two species of acacia trees. It has a slightly piney aroma and it tastes of cedar when chewed to purify the breath.
