A great bargain This wine is about as pleasant and agreeable as you could want. At a dinner I gave, one guest polished off a whole bottle by himself. I would desribe this wine as very pleasant and agreeable----not too tart, and not too sweet. It is rather light in flavor; but it is so pleasant, I can't imagine anyone saying they didn't like it. I certainly intent to keep a good supply of this wine available. You will never go wrong serving it, unless you are dealing with some uber wine snobs.

Man Vintners Chenin Blanc
We source our chenin from various vineyards in the Agter-Paarl region. These un-irrigated, older (10-35 yr old), bush-vine (un- trellised) vineyards produce low yields of 6,5 tons/ha. Only free- run juice was used in producing this wine. After settling the must was inoculated and allowed to ferment over 20 days in stainless steel tanks at an average fermentation temperature of 13 ̊ centigrade. The wine was left on its lees for 3 1⁄2 months until bottling for richer and fuller mouth-feel.
