This antique locket is made for two photos, each held by a bezel. The original protective covers are in place too. It is in excellent condition with only minor abrasions from regular wear and age/. Marked with the maker's mark, "W & H Co" inside a heart logo. I believe this is an American company likely to have been based in Rhode Island but have not been able to identify the initials. Locket dates from around 1900s, Late Victorian Period.

Locket has a colored rose engraving. Gold-filled is a layer of real 14kt gold permanently bonded to a foundation metal.
