I have found this to be a very useful tool. We have numerous grasses of various sizes and invasive vines and wild brambles along the back of our property. The property line is several hundred feet long and over one hundred feet from the house. This trimmer makes it easy to bushwack everything that tries to creep into our yard. So far I have found it very capable for trimming branches to about 3/4".

Have used this trimmer for hedges and to clear tall weeds from lake bank. It is safer than most other designs since your hands (fingers) are away from the blades. The long reach is useful. Only complaint is I cannot find replacement blades as mine are now a little dull after some rugged use.

This product lives up to there claims it is very well constructed and last a long time on the battery. The best idea is to ditch the charger that comes with it and get the fast charger it makes your batteries charge faster and last longer. I have been very happy with the Black & Decker products I have bought and having a two year warranty is great.
