Happy Mouth Double Jointed Boucher Bit
This is a good bit for shows. my Event horse likes it for XC. he is too sensitive for a gag or pessoa bit but too strong for me to ride in a plain dbl jointed snaffle, it gives him the perfect amount of poll pressure for the changes in pace and collection during the XC rides. I give it a four because he is able to chew up the plastic a bit, but luckily he doesnt do that very often. i have currently owned mine for 2 years and it still is in good use/shape

Happy Mouth Boucher Jointed with Roller Bit
this is an excellent bit for my Eventing horse on XC. He is too sensitive for a gag or pessoa (also called bubble bit/elevator) but too strong for a plain snaffle and a pelham is a pain with the two reins and they dont make double jointed kimberwikes. this bit is good for horses that lean on your hands but needs to be permittable for dressage. I only put four stars because Hopi is able to chew up the plastic a bit. Luckily he doesnt do it too often.
