It jumps out the glass and constantly evolves with aromas of musk, sandalwood, blackberries, cloves and a hint of mint chocolate. The palate is rich and mouthfilling. Flavours are intense with licorice, plum, perfume and spice. Integrated background tannins provide a fine, layered structure. Well balanced with a very tasty and lengthy finish. Great drinking now but ideally suited for serious cellaring.
