Nothing says warm weather as well as a big flower brooch. This piece has silver- tone metal and an open and closed backing in the DeLizza and Elster style. Five huge sapphire blue oval shaped glass stones along with peacock blue chatons are set around a green chaton. The stem is set with dark blue rhinestones and it curves. Green rhinestones are set along the stem. All of the sparkling stones are prong set.

The ABs are two rows wide with the smaller on the outer edge. They throw colors that the large, cabochon cut art glass at the center has embedded within. The art glass is gripped by dogtooth prongs. All of the other stones are prong set as well. This gold- tone brooch is slightly domed and it has good weight.

SOLD I am fairly confident this is an unsigned Joseph Warner piece, because I have owned some of the signed and identical pieces in the past. As you can see this is a lovely piece. The frame for the intaglio is silver- tone metal and has lacy appearance. Set near the intaglio is a ring of brilliant blue rhinestones, held in place with prongs. The glass at the center is blue with green undertones. The carved lady shows colors of both blue and green.

SOLD A metal pierced back that is rectangular with the turned up metal edges is distinctive and a known Haskell finding. The pin assembly is a safety catch type. I love the vivid color of the glass beads. These same colors can be seen in many Haskell pieces. The metal is Russian gold- tone. The glass beads in the middle of the floral motif are the same color as the large red dangling bead. They are sitting atop dark green beads and picking up the color of the green beads making them appear darker.
