After the extreme difficulty in getting it removed I decided there was no way I was going to use all three o-rings. I tried it first with just the upper one. Not a good idea. The mount is not solid. Then I went with the upper two. The mount installed correctly but I still had to use considerable force to get it...

Admin note: This is a dedicated thread for discussing the Garmin Nuvi 550 GPS Navigation System for Motorcycles. I bought this after much research and quite a few years using Nuvi car models.
