If you are worried about the quality of the Mexican made jazz, don't be. Overall it seems to be well made. At least as good as some of the 70s and 80s jazz basses i've used in over 30 years of playing. The sound is deep but very clean and bright. Not active but very adjustable with great tone. Neck seems straight and very playable. Tuning pegs work well and the guitar stays in tune. I have not checked out the pots yet but fit and finish look very good. This is a 1986 Rickenbacker 610 Neck + body project. The color is like a Fire Engine Red. I'm not sure what Rickenbacker called the color, but it's pretty rare for Rick.
