TiMER, Emma Caulfield, DVD
October 01, 2010: When I first checked this out, it was for the sake of Emma Caulfield, who played my favorite character in BtVS, Anya. I loved her acting style and blunt, quirky delivery of lines. I loved her just as much in this film, and she was supported by fantastic actors, every one of them. Her sister, Steph, won't zero out until she's 43, and plays up the bitterness of that perfectly. This is not your standard rom-com, it's slightly cynical without being caustic, and the dialogue... |

Emma, Doran Godwin, DVD
September 27, 2010: I own and have watched all three versions of Emma, and this one is very good. My favorite of all is the A&E version with Kate Beckinsale, but this one is just as good which is why I still give 5 stars. The only thing I didn't like was that Mr. Knightley was much older than he was supposed to be, but his acting was flawless. All the characters were not only properly protrayed from the novel, but came alive on screen. This version of Emma is very accurate and enjoyable... |
