BrewCraft Liquid Bread Doppelbock
A big, chewy, malty-sweet beer, Doppelbocks are the beers of spring in Bavaria. Typically the wort is caramelized by long boiling in the kettle and use of darker malts; we use a range of crystal malts to recreate this beer style giving it flavors and aromas of raisins, burnt sugar, caramel candies, and freshly baked whole wheat bread. Hops are used for bittering and just a bit of flavor, but the aroma of this beer is all malt. Best when fermented at lager temperatures to keep fruity esters low, but... |

Ayinger Celebrator Doppelbock
Appearance: Dark and intense looking of a mahogany colour, a big frothy tan head lays on top that literally sticks around as long as the beer is there. Smell: Whiffs of mild molasses and faint caramel entanlge with a dark bready aroma. Slight spicy alcohol, herbal hop and light toasted malt as well. Ayinger Celebrator Doppelbock
Product Description Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly... |

Doppelbock Extract Kit w/ Specialty Grains
Doppelbocks rank among the world's strongest beers. Rich and filling, these lagers used to sustain German monks during Lenten fasts. We don't recommend it as a substitute for solid food, but it is a great after-dinner drink on a cold winter night. Deep copper-brown in color with a potent mix of malt and alcohol aromas, full and rich mouthfeel, slightly sweet and malty with just enough hops to strike a balance, warming all the way down. Recommended: 2-stage cold fermentation and yeast starter. |

Weihenstephan Korbinian (Doppelbock)
Details Weihenstephan Korbinian (Doppelbock) 7.4% ABV. Weihenstephan's Korbinian is archetypical of the style, showing chocolate and fig aromas with concentrated roasted malt character. On the palate it is quite creamy, with a slight sweetness and little hop character while displaying flavors of toffee, nuts, caramel, flamed orange peel, and a very slight hint of licorice. The finish is long with continued roasted malt character; with sweetness increasing as the finish fades. Doppelbocks were... |
