Blown layered glass sculptural paperweight with precision stripes inside, white and multicolor outside with clear layers in between. After blowing, the piece is cooled and then cold worked with two parallel sides and two angled facets. Each piece undergoes 6 separate grinding and polishing steps finishing with an optical polish. The picture shows a view of this Old Cobalt Blue Glass Paper Weight. the lower 2/3 of the glass paperweight is blue , then there is the yellow and the rest is clear glass. In yellow there is a letter inside. It is either the ''@'' symbol, an ''a'' or a ''D'' in a circle. There are a few bubbles in the blue section. The age and maker are unknown. There is a green felt like sticker on the bottom. The paper weight measures 2-13/16'' wide and 2-1/4'' tall. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured.
