Silvertone Artist Archtop Circa 1950
For sale is this Silvertone Artist Archtop, circa 1950. The guitar is in good shape for a 60 year old piece. The finish is worn in the usual spots, and there is a small crack in the back of the body (near the bottome) as seen in the pictures. Other than that, the structure of the piece is undamaged and the piece has maintained it's integrity wonderfully. This DOES COME WITH THE ORIGINAL GROVER TUNERS. You are bidding on a vintage SILVERTONE MODEL: 319.14559 SEMIHOLLOW BODY. This is a probably a mid-to-late 60's Silvertone made by Teisco of Japan. This is a knock-off of the Gibson ES335, and Teisco was well known for producing very good knock off electric guitars. It has a fully functional whammy bar and has that great Teisco-twanger sound. Vintage Silvertone 712 Archtop Guitar, Circa 1946
A rare Kay built Silvertone 17" arch top guitar from the late '40's. Solid spruce top, maple back and sides. It has a recent neck reset and is set up with a nice low action. The tuning gears have been replaced with die cast enclosed gears. The frets are a bit worn, but still plays well. Has plenty of dings and scratches and playing wear from over 60 years of living with guitarists. There is no case, but will be well packed.
