This pen kit is constructed quite well. I have assembled a number of these pen kits, all of which operated smoothly. Care must be taken in the pressing of parts. Special care must be paid to assemble all the parts in the correct order/placement. The assembly diagram is thorough. Certain parts are easily transposed during assembly so check twice & press once! The finished pens carry a nice, mid-sized frame and weight. The pen refill could be a little nicer, though.
