This pitter deserves five stars for its cherry pitting ability alone, but since its olive pitting ability is less than satisfactory, its been given a four. You can pit enough cherries for a tart or pie in just 10-15 minutes. I bought one for work and liked it so much I bought a second for home. It has simplicity of design and a locking lever so it takes a small amount of space in the drawer.
