Canna bulbs for your canna garden or nursery
Plants bulbs 12 to 18 inches apart. Lay long part of the bulb horizontal to the earth’s surface with eye up, if visible. This is not critical, as cannas will grow no matter which direction they are planted. Cover with 2" of soil. In colder regions, (6-8 weeks before spring), bulbs can be planted in pots and placed in greenhouse conditions. When danger of frost is past, remove from pot and plant outside. Cultivate often to keep soil loose and free of weeds.

Fay's Orchid Canna is a recent discovery hybrid that appeared in the 1960's at the home garden of Fay Hornbuckle in Omega, GA., and even through it is a hybrid, it forms fertile seed. The delicate pink flower of the Fay's Orchid Canna Lily is bordered with a small irregular yellow-cream edge variable in width sometimes appearing in the mid-vein of the flower. A large bed of Fay's Orchid Cannas will grow as abundance of soft pink flowers for three seasons.
