Grapes for the Cabernet Franc were harvested in lat e October and early November. The wine was fermented at warm temperatures in contact with the skins for 13 days to extract colour and tannin followed by full malolactic fermentation to soften the wine’s acidity. A portion of this wine received oak ageing to enhance its structure and aromatic complexity while the remainder was aged in stainless steel to preserve its varietal character.

In the glass, this Cabernet Franc has a dark garnet color with moderate density and good clarity. It shows rich aromas of dark berries, black currants, earth and tobacco with nice, subtle oak integration. The palate is round in mouthfeel and rich in dark fruit flavor, a slight earthiness, and good firm tannin, all balanced with a nice crisp acidity.
