Elegant gold pin resembling a sheaf of grain, tied at the center. It alternates highly polished and textured surfaces for a very interesting effect. It measures 2 1/16" wide by 1 13/16". It is in perfect vintage condition with no loss of plating or any other problem.Circa late 50's early 60's.

Outside of the My Fair Lady pieces and a few others, the quality of the BSK pieces is variable to say the least. This pin is well- made. It is in gold- tone metal that has fine brushed detail at the man's pants. His shirt is also textured as is his hat. He is carrying a stick with a dangling jade basket on both ends. The hallmark appears on the reverse. ca. 1960s.

SOLD The bouquet pins came in a short and tall version. This tall version is another cutie in the highly collectable series of pins produced by BSK. Seven off white enamel flowers with clear rhinestone centers are sitting atop light green enamel leaves and five long stems. The metal is gold- tone. This piece can be seen in the book Warman's Costume Jewelry Figurals by Kathy Flood on page 82. The hallmark appears on the reverse.

Some call these opera glasses, but what is in a name anyway? They are gold- tone metal that has a black and cream enamel finish. A row of clear rhinestones separates the two colors. Set at the bottom are nice sized ruby red pear shaped rhinestones. This very collectable brooch is featured in the book, Warman's Costume Jewelry Figurals, by Kathy Flood on page 81. This is an interesting brooch. It measures 2 1/4 X 1 3/4, and the brooch itself is gold tone with a brushed finish. The clear rhinestones are set in silver toned metal and those pieces are raised at either end of the brooch which makes it all the more interesting. So, it is two colored, as well as two dimensional. The brooch is in good condition and is marked BSK, as shown.

Here is an exciting set by B S K glittering with paved’ silver-white rhinestones. The brooch measures 1 3/4 x 2”. The clip style earrings are ½ x 1 1/8”. All three pieces are marked BSK and are in very good condition.

BSK was a New York City based company that was in business from the 1940's -1950's. The initials B.S.K. stood for the first initials of the owners names. The B was for Benny Steinberg, the S was for Hy Slovitt and the K was for Mr. Kaslo (don't know his first name). Their line was reasonably priced and could be found in some department stores and Woolworth's.
