This is typical fine work by Hobe. The leaves and bow are layered. The roses go a step further by having individual petals wrap to form a circle just as real roses do. The semi-triangular plaque with the rectangular bottom marked Hobe, sterling, 1/20 14k, indicates that this brooch is lovely older Hobe dating between 1918 and 1932. 3" long.1 1/2" wide. 1/2" deep.

Fabulous three dimensional sterling bouquet brooch. The "flowers" sitting atop the stems are orbs of different sizes, each with a bezel set crystal rhinestone on top. The bouquet is backed by a wave of silver accented with crystal rhinestones. Only signed Sterling on an oval cartouche, but definitely designer quality.

Very pretty gold wash over Sterling brooch in a retro design is from the 1940's. It is 3 1/8 inches long, has hot pink rhinestones adn is in very good condition. It is marked "Coro Sterling".

Matte olive green enamel on a sterling is the setting for this brooch signed Sonia Lee. The petals are pierced openwork in the shapes of flowers with red rhinestone centers. There is a multi loop bow tied in the center with pave set clear rhinestones and red accents. The clear stones are all bright white, present and sparkling. The leaves are nicely detailed. A third smaller leaf holds at its center a small prong set clear rhinestone. This beautiful brooch would make a wonderful addition for a collector and it is signed Jolle Sterling on the back at the tip of the flower. Jolle was founded by Lester Hess and Jack Appel. ca. 1940s.

SOLD Here is a sinewy retro flower brooch that is sterling silver with a gold- filled wash. Three thin stalks are tipped with deep blue baguettes. Small white faux pearls are used at the center of curling sections. A single leaf and a forget- me- not look flower are set near the bottom of the stems. The flower also has a small faux pearl at the center. The silver content stamp appears on the reverse. ca. 1940s.

Walter Lampl's name is associated with quality. Several similar floral pins were patented and made during the 1940s by this New York City company. The hallmark "Sterling and WL" appear on the reverse.
