Unused and in mint condition is this vintage handkerchief featuring an ornately embroidered monogram with the initial D. White hand embroidery done on white linen make for an exquisite presentation. Tiny seed stitches inside of scrolls surround the monogram in one corner. Measuring about 12 and a half inches with hand rolled edges all around.

This is a very old, vintage wedding hankie from the early part of the 20th century. The cotton is very sheer, and the drawn threads are all in tact, but very delicate. Definitely something old for the bride. Decorative lace border around the edges with pleated corners. The color of the hanky and lace is an eggshell white, not snow white.
