i would have given this item a 1/2 star if i could. my wife gave me this ice cream maker for my birthday in january, we tried to use it the first time on the 4th of july. i really ruined our party. i could not crank the ice cream after 10 minutes because the plastic gears would not mesh properly and wouldnt grip each other, so we tried to use the electric motor and after 5 minutes the motor over heated and had to cool down before it would run again but it would over heat and quit again. this pr oduct...
