The other rating made me a little nervous because Ariats can be tought to break in. I found these to be super comfortable from the moment I put them on. Nice slim ankle gives a great line. I got the full calf when I normally wear regular (I'm 5'6" 31' inseam and 135) and they are a little big in the calf but that's what I wanted. Height was perfect with size 8.5. I wear them for riding and lessons and plan to wear them at the small shows this summer. I will also probably sneak them in for a casual...
