I thought about your application for a bit and came up with what I think may work for you, but the Yakima Cargo Tie Downs, # Y05006, probably would not be the best item for your situation. Instead the Yakima Boat and Cargo Strap Tie-Down Kit, item # Y04057, is the same cost but has the parts that I believe will work for you. I produced a short video showing how I would use the straps in this kit to attach one pose to another and have an adjustable web strap in between the poles, see link.
