Large framed, faceted amethyst glass stone as fob. Unmarked as to content, appears to be rolled gold. In excellent condition with a few dark spots on chain. Single chain measures 4 inches. It is not marked but I believe it is gold filled. It is a very cool old chain and shows very little wear. It is adorned by a figural fob in the shape of a horse's head made of mother-of-pearl. The fob has been nicely carved - you can clearly see the horse's mane and details on its mouth and nostrils. The eyes of the horse are glass beads with a black dot for the pupil. The fob measures 1 1/2 inches long.

Measuring 12-1/2" in length (not including the fob) the chain is made of goldfilled brass. It is adorned by a figural flat fob in the shape of a horse's head made of mother of pearl and, again, goldfilled brass for the bridle and reins. The fob has been nicely carved - you can clearly see the horse's mane and details on its mouth and nostrils.
