Center-Loaded Telescoping Whip Antenna
I somehow lost the stock duck antenna that came with my hand held scanner so I needed a replacement. I've tested it on all bands using the adjustment chart and it really does a good job of tuning to the desired band. The other reviews saying it's flimsy are incorrect. The antenna itself is made from a thick gauge steel, and yes the BNC connection is not super tight, but that's not the fault of the antenna, it's the nature of the BNC connector since it doesn't use threads.
