I was looking for an adhesive cabinet lock and these work very well. You do have the option to screw the locks on if you want. Keeping track of the key may be a bit of a pain for some, but it doesn't bother me. So far these locks have kept my little one out of the cabinets. Very easy to install. Does not work on drawers that have the drawer front mounted on an extra piece of wood in the front, and you cannot mount the lock sideways. Adhesive is very strong, so put it on right the first time...
