The Matrix OZIK and the UST shafts are both very similar when it comes down to it. Basically it is two very high end shafts made by two different companies. Personally, I have hit them both and they perform about the same. I decided to go with the OZIK shaft just because I had previously used one in my 3 wood, but both shafts will launch the ball pretty high, and the matrix, on paper, tends to spin the ball a little less.
