The Aeropress doesn't really require any upgrades. The stock paper filters are inexpensive, work well, and a stack of them lasts a long, long time. But I was excited anyway to check out the Disk. I did the ultimate field test on the Disk; I took it to Ethiopia and Kenya on a coffee buying trip. I brewed coffee in hotels, guest houses, roadside restaurants in rural towns ... everywhere! What I noticed was that it produced a clean cup, without too much sediment that can distract from the cup flavors...
