I purchased this flooring for my hall and living room but have a stair way that opens up into the living room/ hallway. I do not plan to use the flooring on the stairs but need to know if this is the correct item to get to use where the stairs meet the hall/living room floors that will be done in the african mahgoany. I do not want a lip as I top the stairs onto the floors so how would I get the lip out of the stair nose so it will be flush with the flooring?
