I don't think that any Hong Kong cinema fans will be disappointed with A Better Tomorrow II as it is what we expect from a John Woo production. I'm sure many would agree that John Woo seemed to lack care and quality when it came to sound and picture quality in earlier Hong Kong productions and BTII is a victim of this, but if you are a real fan you will not let this stop you watching the film.
