One of the oldest finds we've seen in remarkable condition! This soft cotton bonnet has a deep ruffle-rimmed crown that may be folded back, carefully stitched in parallel rows so that the turned-back panel stays in place. It has deep gathers to the crown and back neck with a sweet satin bow to both places, and the bonnet covers the neck generously. Lined in a complementing floral and it's completely hand-sewn.

This antique beauty is a demure style from the early Victorian era! Its stiff arched frame has ruching to rows of wires, with a tapered round crown and deep ruffle around the back & sides neck.
