Carvers' Stones have been moulded with grooves in the surface for gouges of various radii and for V-parting tools. Size: 4˝" x 2½˝ x ¾˝". The #3000 grit stone is used to remove the wire edge and prepare the bevel for final polishing.

Each stone measures 175 MM long x 55 MM wide and 16 MM thick. In inches the stone measures 6 7/8" long, 2 1/8 wide and 5/8" thick. This size offers a good balance of value and size. The stones are bonded to the base. The base provides plenty of knuckle clearance when sharpening knives and is solidly built for sharpening tools.
