My previous suit was an o'neill 3/2 heat. Not a bottom of the barrel but not top of the line either. With this one's price I expect it to be top of the line. I bought this suit in the middle of last winter and wore it only 5 times. Seemed pretty good and kept me warm - no issues. Washed it out carefully each time and then stored it for the summer when the water warmed up. Then, in my first use of this winter, I had a seam fail, leaving a 2" + hole. It's still under warranty so I'm sending back to O'Neill for repair. Not sure if I'm unlucky or this suit is simply not meant to stand up to serious use.
