Here's a piece of candy trivia that is seldom overlooked - The 3 Musketeers candy bar was named after 4 musketeers , however, due to a marketing decision the name was changed to reflect only three: Porthos, Arthor, and D'Artagnan. In 1932, M&M/Mars debuted the 3 Musketeers Bar, originally made as a three-flavor bar featuring chocolate, vanilla and strawberry nougat and it wasn't for another 13 years until it was changed to the hocolate nougat formula that is still used to this very day.
