We needed two new ceiling fixtures for small rooms in our 100-year-old Edwardian-style house, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. At other sources, fixtures that looked appropriate were far too expensive, and their low-priced products were either too modern looking or just plain tacky. We ordered these pendant fixtures from Lighting Universe because they offered the right style/price combination, and when they arrived we saw that they were of good quality, too.

This is truly a beautiful pendant. It was easy to assemble and it took me about 30 minutes to install and wire. I am using this pendant in my formal dining room and it really makes the room very sophisticated. The oil brushed bronze color really stands out. I do suggest having 2 pliers to help remove the excess chain links and wire cutters.I have a dimmer switch and highly recommend using one to vary the brightness of the room. This was a great purchase and recommend this product highly.

The perfect size for our 42" round kitchen table. The satin nickel finish is flawless and looks fairly rich. 60 Watt bulbs on a dimmer make this the perfect light. The glass bowl just fits the opening -- if a fraction smaller it would seem too small. The hooks of rods attached to the rim are not closed. If anyone knocks the light the rim could detach from the rods. We wired them to the eye part on rim for insurance. Would not be an issue if used in a foyer, but over a table is necessary. ...
