I put this jack on my tandem axle boat trailer. I had one of those 2000lb jacks with the wheel and this new 5000lb jack without the wheel is way better. Its actually easier to slide over. It raises the trailer much higher than the swing jacks which is good for draining the boat while washing or whatever. I recomend this 5000lb over those swing jacks anyday. This one wont break like the swing jacks do. The swing jacks are flemzy at the rotating joint and break which is very dangerous.
