I bought this mostly for drilling through concrete. My hammer drill does a good job but wanted more power when needed. This drill is great. Small enough that it's not a beast to use but still very powerful and makes light work of drilling conrete. I also use it for "hammer only" when breaking up tile and chipping old mortar out.
