I've used these on two different 1978 280Zs. They firm up the steering very much, and I would strongly recommend pairing them with a polyurethane steering puck. The play in the stock rubber bushings is greatly reduced, which gives a much better response and road feel. The shape of the bushings make them somewhat hard to install with the rack still in the car.
