September 27, 2010: I still have a hard time deciding if I actually like this film or not. It has some very very beautiful visuals and very beautiful music. But I could have done without all the cheesy MTV-style pseudo-philosophizing. The pretentious hipster pontifications of Dennis Hopper and Tom Robbins are particularly irritating in this regard.
