Early fall or winter is the time of the year when mice move in as part of their normal movement patterns. Mice can be humanely live-trapped and put back in their own environment. Havahart® One-Door Groundhog & Raccoon Trap
Trap worked well, BUT – this young coon had removed the carrying handle and the accompanying claw guard metal plate from the cage. The plate was lying beside the cage and the handle was part in & part out of the cage. I was able to retrieve the handle, which I connected to the back of the cage, and with that and by grabbing the front of the cage over the door with my other hand, I was able to move the critter. (Always wear heavy leather gloves when handling cage with animal inside.)
