After being dyed, we rinse the fabrics in water temperature between 125 & 140 degrees with Synthrapol . However, one of the things every dyer and the dyeing books talk about is the different ways the dyes respond in different waters (different chemicals, minerals, etc.). Nancy has been our test of dye stability--she can get just about any commercially dyed fabric to run in her water (when they don't in Janice's water), and yet Nancy has had few problems with these dyed fabrics. Although a DMC reference may be listed, we cannot guarantee color consistency between lots, due to many factors beyond our control (ie dye lots, different batches of "base" fabric, water conditions, etc.). We suggest if you plan to stitch companion pieces to purchase all of the needed fabrics at the same time. Some shrinkage does occur during processing. Sizes listed are approximate.
