This product was purchased to put by my husband's chair where he reads. The light from the lamp on the table was not adequate. We liked it so much we bought a second one for another room!! This lamp (with the haologen lightbulb that comes with it) shines the bright light directly where you need it and actually keeps the rest of the room dark...nice on early mornings when I don't want to see a bright light in the living room!!

I bought 2 of these lamps for my office, which is large and has a high ceiling and needs lots of lighting. The lamps were in stock and came quickly. They were easy to put together. I thought the top light was going to hold a 100 watt light but it is only rated for 60 watt. The overall quality is okay but the lamp is not as sturdy as I had expected for the price. They will work but only get a "C".

Love the lamp...exactly what I needed for the space - except I should have ordered the bronze...oh, well. Packaging has gone out in trash..Can't exchange.

The arm will not stay in one place when arm extended. called and asked about it answer don't know how to adjust tension on arm so i tied it in position and leave it there looks like h--- but works. if you don't care about adjustment of tension i don't care how it looks when people see it
